Just a little heads up

I’m done with this tumblr and I’ve made a new one. Why? Because my blog has been moving in a certain direction for a long time and I wanted to devote more space to it. I’m not deleting this though because it has very old stuff pertaining to my real life that I don’t want to delete. That may sound weird but I’m the guy that still has movie tickets from 09’. A couple days ago someone told me I simply “don’t understand”

I don’t understand? Really? I guess you are correct in a lopsided sort of way. Your God is simply a projection of your own ego and desires onto the universe. This is part of the reason why there are so many different interpretations for any given Bible verse. People read themselves into the Bible and thus into God. I find it very convenient that God hates all the things you hate and wants to support your agenda. I am noticing a correlation here. You are what you call God. You worship yourself for justification for what you want, and you call it God. This is why I don’t understand. I am not in the head of someone who lives in a delusional fantasy were the most powerful being of all happens to agree with you, to satiate your desire for love, security, affection, attention and justification.

How could anyone possibly stand there and say they are against abortion because the child does not have a choice in the matter and because a book written by tribesmen in Bronze Age Palestine says that life is formed at conception but then turn around and saw off parts of the male genitalia at birth with no regards to their own child’s future desires because that same book that defines life at conception clearly states that you cannot get into heaven with an circumcised penis? The hypocrisy of Christian logic at its finest. And they say they are morally superior? That’s a fucking joke.

Doesn’t the ressurection make the whole “died for your sins” thing meaningless?

If I paid ten bucks for gas, went out and pumped it, and then came back in like “hey can I get that 10$ back?” the cashier would look at me like I was on crack.

Recently I got into listening to albums in their entirety. I started with The Killers and listened to every song and now I’m onto Taking Back Sunday. It’s like ten times better this way but the nostalgia is crazy.

If humans are meant to have an immortal afterlife then why does human nature dictate survival at all costs?
